I've just been looking back into some of my old entries. Wow, I didn't realize how long I've actually had this thing. I am resolving right now to use it more and do more writing (yet again). Hopefully I can actually go through with it this time. There always seems to be something that "pops up" and keeps me from writing, whether it's RL or just my muse being lazy and uncooperative. I found a story beginning on my hard drive and I don't even remember what I was going to do with it! I don't remember the plot behind it or anything! That just signals that I need to really buckle down and get some fics completed and posted. I've been out of the loop for far too long. Let's just hope I'm up to the challenge. ;)

Yes, it's been awhile since I last updated (and this entry will be short), but for some reason I just had the motivation to update. I'm actually chatting with a few people online right now. I've been swamped at college this past week and I've really been stressing out. I've been up late and thus have been tired all day. But for some unknown reason, I now have tons of energy - I'm practically hyper! It makes no sense - but there you are.

So, I've been hearing all day about the terrorist attacks in London. Only tonight did I see a news report about it. I was horrified by the pictures and video clips they showed. All that destruction and blood...it's all just really saddening. My thoughts and prayers are with those in and around London.

So, it seems like I only update this thing when there is some holiday or another. Hopefully now that it is summer, I will be updating more (and getting back to writing, which was put on hold for RL reasons). Anyway, I hope those of you who celebrate it have a great 4th of July! I have to admit that this is one of my favorite holidays, mainly because of the fireworks. I guess you could call me a pyromaniac - gotta love fire.
Anyway, again happy 4th of July and I hope you have a great day!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe it's now 2005 - December just flew by. I had a great time last night/this morning. I actually went out this year to a party my friend was throwing. I had a great time, though I only got about 4 hours of sleep. Actually, I'm feeling more awake now than I did at around noontime. Weird, isn't it? I guess that's about all, so I'm going to call it a night.

I just wanted to wish everybody a rather belated happy holidays! It's been a busy time of year for us all, but I hope everyone enjoyed it anyway.
So, in fandom news...I'm still working on the sequal to Socks, but the going is slow and tedious. RL has been extremely hectic for the past few months, so I haven't really gotten any time to write. Hopefully things will calm down soon and I'll get back to writing (though that doesn't seem to be the case in the relatively new future, so don't hold your breath waiting for Sock's sequal).

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a great day yesterday!
In other news, I am searching for a beta for my SAC fic. If anyone would like to volunteer or has any suggestions where I could find one, I would be very grateful. The fic is a little over 3,200 words long and is basically just a fluffy little Snarry story.

Hmm...I guess after almost three months I really should update. Not much going on, though. Actually, I shouldn't say that because I'm overwhelmed with work, but it's just nothing exciting enough to write about.
I'm working on Chapter 2 of Just Another Day for the Snarry Round Robin and I hope to have that posted sometime over the weekend. The sequel to Socks is comming along, but the going is slow. I have Ch. 1 written except for the intro and some of Ch. 2. I've decided that I'm going to try to make these chapters at least 1,000 words so I don't end up with tiny chapters like in Socks. I won't be posting that for a while yet, though, because I'd like to have a few chapters in reserve due to having very little time to write these days. I also have yet to start on my fic for the SAC. I have a few ideas, though, so all I need to do is find time to get them down on paper.

Okay, so I haven't updated in over a month. Anyway, I've been feeling very lazy lately and haven't done a lot of writing, either. Actually, I've been reading a lot (and I mean a lot) of fanfiction and other (non-fanfiction) books.
I seriously need to get back to my writing, I'm just not motivated enough right now. I figure I'll let myself go for a bit longer, but by August I will get back to writing. However, I have gotten a few ideas for a sequal to Like a Pair of Dobby's Socks and even have part of a chapter or two written. I'm hoping for the chapters to turn out longer than in my other fic. Plus, I still have to finish Regret and I've recently been attacked by plot bunnies.

Summary: This fic is part of the Post OotP SS/HP FQF Challenges:A3- Harry goes to Snape to talk about his father(James) B2- Snape finally becomes the new DADA professor C2- Snape notices the scar on Harry's hand from his detentions with Umbridge and confronts him about it.
Rec: This story contains a wonderful contrast of hurt/comfort. It also provides a believeable, slow progression of Harry and Severus' relationship. This is only pre-slash, but it is a wonderful read.

Grr...I am so tired and this week has been dragging by. So much work to do, but not enough time to do it in. Anyway, at least I got to take a little time to do this quiz. I agree with the results, especially based on the mood I've been in lately. It's weird, though, I seem to have a very strange mixture of angst and humor in some of the stories I've been working on. However, Regret (the story I'm currently focusing on) is definately angst.

I hate to have to ask this, but how in the world do you get italicized or bold font to show up on ff.net stories when you post? I use Microsoft Word to type my stories and upload directly from there. In Word, what I want bolded or italicized is bold/italicized, but it isn't after uploading it to ff.net. Any help would be greatly apprechiated. Thanks.

I finally got to update Like a Pair of Dobby's Socks. You can find chapter 5 here. This story is winding up (only two more chapters to go) and I still have a lot of work left on getting anything else even slightly ready for posting. Things have been really hectic lately, but should calm down after next week and allow me to get back to writing. Or I'll be too tired out to do anything. In any case, my muse has been over-active here of late, so it shouldn't be too long until I start a new story.

I had wanted to get chapter 4 up of Like a Pair of Dobby's Socks, but I probably won't be able to until sometime tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. I also have many other plot bunnies running around, but no time to work on anything fic-related. I guess I should concentrate on my own writting, but there are so many good fics out there to read that I've gotten caught up in that rather than my writting.
So, RL is starting to get way too confusing here of late. So today I was talking to my best friend and she asked me if I have a boyfriend. I said no, which caused some confussion on her part. Apparently, it is believed (by many people) that I am dating this guy I know. Don't you hate when you're the last to know these types of things? The only problem is that I'm not dating him. I don't know how this rumor even got started, but now my curiosity has taken over and I need to find some answers.

I am so stressed out it's pathetic. I have so much to do and not enough time to do it in. I haven't had much time for writing here of late, and it's really starting to bug me. I have so many plot bunnies attacking me, but I don't have any time to write anything. What's worse is that I won't be able to relax until at least mid-May or early June. Grr... At least I can keep updating Like a Pair of Dobby's socks since it's already complete. Hopefully that will give me enough time to at least start one or two of the other stories I have begging for my attention. What's really bad is that one of these fics is just a short one-shot, but I have yet to finish it.
